Nova-Seal®II is a premium roofing underlayment that delivers exceptional long term weather barrier performance compared to both traditional asphalt felt products and other synthetic underlayments. Nova-Seal®II is a 100% synthetic underlayment with slip-resistant coatings on both sides. The bottom is designed to reduce slippage between the underlayment and the roof sheathing. The textured top side contains a rubberized polyolefin coating offering unsurpassed slip resistance. This unique, patent pending, feature provides a more secure and safer work surface. The Nova-Seal II Advantage Nova-Seal II is ideal under, asphalt singles, cedar shakes & shingles, concrete and clay tiles, metal slate, stone-coated metal, and synthetics. It is compatible with plywood, oriented strand board (OSB) and any nailable substrate.

High Temperature Resistance: Withstands surface temperatures up to 250f (120 C). Won't flow or leach out at high temperatures lik some asphalt felts. One Year Exposure Period: Nova-Seal II can remain exposed for up to one (1) year. Low Temperature Application: Remains flexible in cold weather and will roll out without cracking or chattter when fastened.Slip Resistant Textured Surface: Coated on both sides with special slip resistant coatings that also provide alayer of toughness. The top side contains a rubber-modified polyolefin coating.
